How to Clean Your Cycle Gear
After all that driving
around, it's inevitable that your leather jacket will need to get cleaned.
Most people have it cleaned by professionals but if you want to do it
yourself, there's a technique to the procedure. Turn your garment inside
out & zip it up. Put it in your washing machine. Select cold water
and short cycle (gentle cycle) with about 2 oz of liquid soap.
After washing put it in a dryer (still inside out) set it at "air
dry" cycle for about 20 min, then hang it on a hanger in room temperature
until it becomes almost dry (it may take a day or two) then put it back
in the dryer for about 30 min. until it is fully dry.
These instructions
require some skill so if you feel inadequate ship your leather garment
to us and we'll get it done right and smelling brand new.
